THE WORD ON THE LIPS OF A BELIEVER JOHN 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. The Word was manifested in the flesh as the spoken Word through the lips of Jesus, as the spoken Word through the lips of the Apostles and finally was put upon paper in the language of men so that we may have a permanent record of this Living Word. The Word of God is not on the written page or in the book but in the lips of the believer. It is God’s Word that heals, saves, blesses and delivers. Our words can become one with God’s Word when we speak with our mouths what we believe in our hearts. The Word becomes real only as we confess its reality. There is today’s language which we use to gossip, talk to our children, give directives, do business and discus politics but there is a language God uses to create and save us, to heal and bless us, to judge and rule us. Let us speak God’s language. In the lips of love and faith, every word is God-filled. PRAYER: Oh Holy Spirit, be the voice of my prayer, guide me in my communication with You to discover the riches of Your love.
