IT IS A MATTER OF CHOICE “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live…” Deuteronomy 30:19 The problem is not with God; it is with us. God wants you not to worry but you choose to worry. God wants you to have good health but you choose to surrender to sickness. God wants you to have breakthrough but you choose to submit to fear. God is always with us but the question we need to ask ourselves is, are we always with God? God is always talking to us but we can choose whether to listen to Him or to satan, the accuser. When God looks at us, He sees the success He has created in us. It is up to us to transfer that success to our daily lives by meditating on it, confessing it and acting on it. Our conduct and behaviour cannot change until the Holy Spirit gives birth in us a picture of what He is looking at when He sees us. Then, we will have a sense of righteousness, an awareness that our sins have been forgiven. By an act of faith, we begin to think, not of our sins and shortcomings but of our righteousness in Christ Jesus. So, make the right choice today and live the life you were called to live, in Jesus’ name!
