FAITH IS NOT IMITATION Today, when we listen to testimonies of incredible breakthrough, many of us think that if we pray in the same way, we will be equally blessed. It is not the amount of prayer you pray but the faith you put into your prayer that counts. When Peter said to the man at the beautiful gate, “Then Peter said, ‘Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk”, he was not repeating words. His words came from Heaven and the very life of God transformed the crippled man at the beautiful gate to perfect health (Acts 3:6). Faith is not imitation. It must arise in each person’s heart based on the Word of God. God will meet you not because you imitate someone else’s action but when you obey what He tells you to do, by His Spirit, based on His Word. PRAYER: Ask God to give you the grace to do what He puts in your heart to do, in Jesus’ name!
