This means what makes us human is not our ability to think but our ability to love. Man, if he truly loves God, must show concern to the just treatment of his neighbour and others. The people of God are to be known for their solicitude for those whose social and economic status exposes them to exploitation and oppression. When we love the widows, orphans and the needy, we are servicing our lives because our position in Christ Jesus is enhanced each time we help someone in trouble. Partners in Christ, our gift can serve as an act of worship to God and inspire other people’s faith and thanksgiving. The Bible says adopting a lifestyle on purpose provides an opportunity to enrich others by leaving our imprint in a positive way.
