DILIGENT SEEKER Hebrews 11:6, “Without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” Are you a diligent seeker? When you are faced with a trial or a test, how do you respond? Do you wallow in depression and take journeys into yesterday or do you count it all joy? The champions of faith in Hebrews 11 exercised great faith under great trials and temptations and were rewarded by God. They were diligent seekers who lived by faith – a lifestyle of trusting in God in all circumstances. The greater the challenge they faced, the greater their trust, their faith in God. Diligent seekers find encouragement even in that which is discouraging and draw nearer to God. When discouragement comes, they don’t stop; they dig deep and fight it through. They maximize their forward motion believing that their breakthrough is being built up slowly but surely. Diligent seekers believe in God in both good and hard times alike. They see their hard times as a reason for believing God just as they see their good times as a reason for believing God as well. Diligent seekers have consistent faith and when your faith in God is consistent; you’re hard times will not impair you but improve you. When you have consistent faith, your troubles will work for your advancement. So, the way out of your challenge is to be a diligent seeker; God will reward you and you will become a champion of faith. Prayer point: Grant unto me a spirit of a true disciple, a champion of faith, one who diligently seeks God in both good and hard times alike, in Jesus’ name.
