BE MORE FOCUSED ON YOUR DIVINE CAUSE Hebrews 12:2 – “Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” In this world of distraction, it is very easy to get off track and lose focus. Satan is very clever in taking any slight opportunity to divert our attention and put us out of focus, even when we need to be more focused on our divine cause. What are the things that can make you lose focus? What is distracting you? Those foolish things that cause pressure and tension – temptation and challenges. Temptation and challenges are a blessing to a genuine Christian, for they will make you stronger. When they come, run to Jesus and don’t lose your focus. No matter what was going on in Jesus’ life, He kept His focus. Today, when temptation comes you begin to see Jesus in a bad light. When you are more focused on your divine cause, when you know where you are going, whatever happens to you midway cannot change your focus. Temptation and challenges will come but when you focus on Jesus and your divine cause, they can only improve you, make you stronger and advance your progress in the Lord. If you are with him and for Him in truth and faith, He will not allow your challenges to be beyond what you are able to manage. PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, grant unto me a pure heart and a willing spirit so that I may focus on You at all times!
