BE CAREFUL OF YOUR WORDS Wars begin because of words. Love begins because of words. Peace begins because of words. Peace comes when great men get together, negotiate and dialogue. Words created the world. Genesis 1:1-3 – “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light.” Words create your world. Are you living in the realm of peace, joy, victory? The Bible says that the kind of world you live in is determined by the words of your mouth. God stressed the importance of our confession when He said, “Whatever you ask in my name, that I will do” (John 15:16). There will be an account given of the words spoken by your mouth. If they are not according to the truth of God’s Word, they will be idle, meaningless and oftentimes destructive. Be careful of your words because the words a man speaks create the blessings or the curses that come his way. It is never a neutral force. It is either speaking the words of life or the words of death.
